Seattle Children’s has embarked on a years-long plan to address the rapid growth of its main campus and an accompanying shortage of nonclinical administrative workspaces. The hospital recently partnered with ZGF Architects to develop a new administrative workplace master plan, which will make it one of the first children’s hospitals in the country to relocate administrative staff from the main hospital campus to an off-campus location in downtown Seattle. In addition to accommodating growth, the plan will enable Seattle Children’s to provide modern, activity-based workspaces that aid in the retention and recruitment of staff. Come hear their story.
