This presentation offers a case study that critically compares the alignment of project goals and design principles with patient experience and user satisfaction. Located in Vietnam, this 361-bed 3P project was planned and designed using JCI, IOM quality and safety aims, and U.S. standards. Presenters will compare successes and challenges in achieving design goals with one-year post-occupancy satisfaction based on patient and staff experiences. They will also include plans, photos, and direct experiences in all major clinical departments while providing a status report on next steps to achieve future JCI accreditation.
