Los Angeles County is among the first to address a continuum of needs for community health in developing Restorative Care Villages (RCV). The LAC+USC RCV and the county programs behind it, represents a world-changing model that provides an innovative approach to providing supportive care for underserved and vulnerable communities in the county. Its comprehensive approach for managing the interrelated and complex needs of homelessness, substance abuse, mental illness, job training, housing, and medical co-morbidity are unprecedented. Presenters will explore the design-construction aspects of the LAC MLK Child and Family Center and LAC+USC RCV providing speed to market, and unique approaches to modular-design.
