When will HCD Expo & Conference take place?

October 23-26, 2021, at the Huntington Convention Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

Can I credit my 2020 registration to HCD Expo & Conference 2021?
Absolutely. Please read on for details.
How can I request a refund or credit for my HCD Expo & Conference 2020 registration?

To credit your registration fee to HCD Expo & Conference 2021, please contact Tasha.Beckford@EmeraldX.com. The deadline for credit requests is October 2, 2020.

To request a full refund, please contact Registration Customer Service on or before October 2, 2020:

Is there a deadline for registration credit and refund requests?

Yes. October 2, 2020, is the deadline to request a full refund, or to credit your registration to HCD Expo & Conference 2021. Requests received after this date will not be eligible for refund or credit.

How can I cancel my hotel reservations?
If you booked hotel accommodations in the HCD 2020 hotel block via our official housing vendor, onPeak, your reservation will be automatically canceled. If you booked a hotel reservation outside the onPeak system and the HCD block, you must cancel/transfer your hotel reservation on your own.
How can I cancel my flight?
Many airlines are offering waived change fees at this time. If you have already booked your flight, we recommend canceling as soon as possible.

FOR EXHIBITORS:

I already shipped my booth freight to HCD Expo & Conference for the November show. What now?
Freeman will be sending out an email with specific details as to next steps with your freight within the next six days. You can also check with your individual carrier.
Will my 2020 sponsorships roll over to 2021?
Yes, we would love for you to continue your sponsorship in 2021, but these will be discussed on a case-by-case basis. Your account executive will be in touch.
I paid for staff badges. Can I receive a refund?

How can I cancel my hotel reservations?

RESERVING A BOOTH FOR HCD 2021

How do I reserve a booth for HCD 2021?

Your account executive will be reaching out to you by late September to review the floorplan and contract a booth for next year.  Additional details will be sent out soon.

Is the floorplan staying the same and can I remain in the same booth location for HCD 2021?

HCD is an event that changes cities every year and as a result we are in different convention centers.  This change could change the orientation of the floorplan, but we will work with you to secure a comparable booth location.  We are also expecting slight changes that may become necessary to comply with the Huntington Center’s and CDC’s new rules in regard to COVID-19.

What if I want the same booth size and location for 2021, but am unable to sign a contract right now?

During this unprecedented time, we are certainly aware this could be an issue, and we will do all we can to be as flexible as possible. Please contact your account executive to discuss options that work best for you.

Do I need to make a deposit to secure my booth?

As is normal procedure, we will be asking for a deposit of $250.00 upon signing of your contract as a deposit to secure your space.  If you need more time for your deposit, please talk to your account executive about payment plan options.

Can I get a refund on fees already paid for HCD 2020?

Yes, a refund can be requested. We will be sending you an electronic form for completion that is required by our finance team. 

Can I roll funds paid toward HCD 2020 to HCD 2021?

Yes, you can transfer the money you have paid for your 2020 booth to 2021. We are not increasing the renewing booth rate, so the cost of the booth will remain the same unless you change the size of your booth. We recommend an ACH transfer for at least the deposit to avoid paying a 2.5% credit card fee. If you have paid more in 2020 than is required for your 2021 deposit, you will have the option to roll over the full amount toward your 2021 booth, or you can request the balance to be refunded.

Do I have to get the same booth for HCD 2021, or can I select a different location/size?

We will work with any company that wants to change their booth size for HCD.
