Brian Fremgen began in the mall business managing a restaurant at South Coast Plaza in 2008, and transitioned to the mall management business in 2013. Working on pop up shops for Westfield’s Specialty Leasing and Partnership Marketing, Brian worked on a range of retail-focused pop ups for brands ranging like Google, Amazon, Kaiser Permanente, and Lululemon. In 2015, Brian joined Pacific Retail Capital Partners to lead local leasing for Queen Ka’ahumanu Center on Maui, Hawaii; there he developed a pipeline of local retailers and restaurants to lead a redevelopment project. Since 2016 Brian has worked for PRCP at Eastrdige Center in San Jose, CA. The large shopping center has undergone a full renovation featuring the world’s largest outdoor mural project, a rotating local pop up shop market style competition, and has hosted several popular pop ups ranging from Rickmobile (from the TV Show Rick and Morty), PinkBUS (exclusive PINK boutique truck by Victoria’s Secret), and ICSC Gold Maxi recipient Aloha Roller Rink!
