Heather is a public health expert with over 15 years of experience working with communities experiencing health inequities. She is passionate about providing human-centered care for mothers and children in developing countries, populations affected by complex humanitarian emergencies, and refugees/immigrants in Minnesota. Her leadership role includes strategic program development, health program innovations, implementation and impact research, community engagement, and capacity building. Heather is widely published, and has presented in numerous international forums. In addition to her work at ARC, Heather is also an Adjunct Instructor at St. Catherine University in St. Paul, MN.
