Mike Perekupka specializes in data, technology, and retail. As Senior Product Manager for Sidecar, Mike collaborates with the company’s engineering and data sciences teams to define how to apply artificial intelligence techniques to solve digital marketing challenges exclusively within the retail industry. He is an expert in statistics and mathematics, and guides retail marketers in strategies and best practices for data-driven decision making. Mike has spoken at industry conferences, including Total Retail Tech and Shop.org (now NRF NXT), and has shared his insights on retail and technology at Sidecar’s customer and partner events around the U.S. He has written about the impact of technology and data in retail since 2015 for Sidecar’s content hub. Prior to Sidecar, Mike was an Adjunct Professor in statistics at Rowan University, and taught advanced placement statistics and calculus to high school students. He holds a master’s degree in applied statistics from Villanova University. Mike believes that evidence is king, and if you are not innovating, you are falling behind.
