Lynn D. Martin, M.D., M.B.A. is the Medical Director, Continuous Improvement and Innovation at Seattle Children’s. He is a Professor of Anesthesiology and Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He received his M.D. from the University of Washington and his M.B.A. for the University of Tennessee. He completed residencies in Pediatrics (Phoenix Children’s Hospital) and Anesthesiology (Johns Hopkins University), followed by fellowships in pediatric anesthesiology and pediatric critical care medicine at Johns Hopkins University. His research interests involve conventional and non-conventional forms of mechanical ventilation, as well as quality improvement, patient safety, and operative outcomes research.
