Teresa Neely joined UW Health in December 2014 as the Senior Vice President, Chief Ambulatory Officer. She assumed the Chief Nursing Officer, Ambulatory role in December 2016. In this role Teresa leads the strategic vision and leadership for the operational, financial, and human resource functions for UW Health Ambulatory Clinics, including primary care, specialty care and behavioral health with a focus on enhancing patient-and family-centered care, improving access, lowering cost through process improvement and variation reduction. She is accountable for nursing practice across ambulatory services. She previously served as Chief Operating Officer for The University of Kansas Physicians, managing the clinical, IS, financial, and operational performance of the largest multi-specialty organization in Kansas City.
