She has a proven track record as an ASC Administrator in roles related to business office, financial, and clinical operations. Dawn leads several ASCs each year through deemed status with AAAHC or Joint Commission.

This session presents findings from a pilot study conducted by Boulder Associates using digital tracking technology to measure real-world space utilization in an active ambulatory surgery center. Over a three-month period, patient and staff movement data revealed where design intent aligned or conflicted with operational reality, directly impacting safety, efficiency, and experience. Attendees will gain evidence-based insights into how the built environment influences clinical workflows, with practical strategies for optimizing existing ASCs and informing future planning decisions.
