First things first…
Update your profile.
Upon logging in, complete your profile to help attendees and exhibitors know who you are. Add a professional photo, your title, and a short bio to make networking easier.

Manage your availability.
To manage your availability on the web platform, follow these steps:
- Go to the Edit Profile section by clicking the Profile button at the top right of the page.
- Select Manage My Availability to view the default meeting days and time ranges set by the event organizer.
- Customize your availability by adjusting the daily time ranges or setting different times for each event day.
- Save your changes to ensure your customized availability is reflected in meeting requests.
PRO TIP:
You can make a whole day unavailable by unchecking the box next to the day’s name.
Build your event experience.
Expand your network by reviewing your AI-powered recommendations and exploring profile lists. Connect by sending meeting invites or showing interest in profiles. If you’re registered for a Full-Conference pass, explore sessions, keynotes, networking events (and more!) in the agenda section.
PRO TIP:
Subscribe to your calendar to add confirmed meetings and bookmarked sessions to your calendar. This helps prevent unnecessary rescheduling and meeting conflicts.
Log in using the email address you registered with and follow the instructions to set up your profile.

Navigating the mobile app:

1. Explore HCD Conference + Expo.
This is your essential toolkit for HCD 2025. Use the app to explore sessions, exhibitors, and other attendees. Plus, access essential information and personalized content.

2. Chat with connections.
Start conversations with other attendees using the in-app chat feature. Ensure you‘ve made a connection or confirmed a meeting to initiate chats.

3. Follow your schedule.
Keep track of your day! Note that adding sessions to your schedule doesn’t reserve seats. Arrive early to get the best seat! Only Full-Conference pass holders can attend conference sessions.

4. Get notified.
Never miss an update or opportunity! Turn on and “Allow” HCD Connect App notifications to be reminded of meetings and receive important event updates.

How does this work?
A: We have invested in advanced technology to help deliver recommendations for your company to schedule onsite meetings with the best-fitted registered attendee buyer.
Is there a dedicated meeting location on the HCD Expo show floor?
A: Yes. All meetings will take place in the exhibitors’ booths
How do your recommendations work?
A: Each attendee is required to answer qualified demographic and business-related questions. Based on their registration requirements our algorithms are mapping their qualifications to your product categories and provide you with a top-recommended list of matchmaking opportunities.
Is the attendee involved in this process?
A: Yes. The attendee will receive an account upon completion of their registration. This tool helps attendees navigate the products/services at the show + save their time by connecting with you pre and post-event.
Can we utilize this tool after the show?
A: Absolutely. You can still connect with the attendees until the end of December 2023.
Will my booth staff have access?
A: Yes. Every staff member that is registered as staff will have their own unique profile representing your company.
Does this tool cost me anything?
A: We do not charge to utilize this tool. Each exhibitor will be receiving full access.
Can I use this on the HCD Expo mobile app?
A: Yes. You will be able to manage all your pre-scheduled appointments on the go in the mobile app.
