This session explores how visionary planning, precision infrastructure, and advanced robotics converge to create future-ready surgical environments. Drawing on real-world case studies—from advanced technology integration (Da Vinci robotics, Stereotaxis, auxiliary systems for CATH & EP, etc.) to robust equipment-infrastructure coordination—speakers will guide attendees through: Strategic OR transformation: Evaluating how robotic-assisted systems impact room layout, power, data, HVAC, and surge protection. Integrated medical-equipment planning: Leveraging BIM-based clash detection, GCR reviews, and conduit planning and mapping to prevent onsite surprises and minimize construction delays. Future-proofing innovations: Designing spaces that accommodate evolving advanced devices—AI-enabled robots, imaging systems, and diagnostic tools—while ensuring infrastructure adaptability and scalability. Attendees will gain actionable best practices for aligning next-gen technology deployment with infrastructure planning—empowering teams to design and operate OR/IR and procedural suites that are technologically advanced, logistically effortless, and ready for future innovation.
