IFHE Opening Ceremony

As healthcare design and construction projects grow in scale, complexity, and duration, teams increasingly include joint ventures, integrated partnerships, and “teams within teams.” This session explores practical strategies for building alignment, trust, governance, and shared purpose across diverse organizations and perspectives. Attendees will gain insights into team selection, communication, performance metrics, and overcoming silos to create cohesive leadership and stronger collaboration, turning complexity and differing perspectives into strengths that support successful outcomes.

Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping the built environment through changes in operational strategy, infrastructure intelligence, workforce dynamics, predictive analytics, automation, and decision-making. This session provides a deeper examination of how AI is evolving within facility operations, engineering, and healthcare infrastructure, and where the market is heading next. You'll get practical insights into the shifts driving industry-wide transformation, including data architecture, system interoperability, operational workflows, and emerging leadership considerations. The discussion is designed for leaders seeking a clearer understanding of AI’s long-term impact on the future design, operation, and management of the built environment.
